Welshpool set to rock to Sunday’s Music Festival

24/05/2025 @ 08:16

The final preparations are being made for Welshpool Music Festival to rock the town on Sunday afternoon, through to the evening.

Seventeen bands and solo acts will perform across two stages down at Maesydre, with the festival teaming up with the Cricket Club to use the clubhouse and bar facilities.

There will be a main stage outside featuring bands, while a more intimate acoustic stage will feature a host of popular local artists.

Music starts at 1pm on both stages, running all the way through to 11pm. There will be a licensed bar and food outlets with entry £4. Under 16s enter for free.

The event is being held in the memory of Alex Edwards who we tragically lost last year, and his father, Steve, will be performing in the afternoon.

Headliners this year are Micha and the Kings on the main stage and Ollie Jones, who returns to the acoustic stage after a successful performance last year.
