QSHE Technician

Wipak UK is a leading supplier of premium quality, sustainable and innovative flexible packaging solutions for food products. It is part of the family-owned, international industry and trade conglomerate, Wihuri.

We are seeking an experienced QSHE Technician to further strengthen our Quality team in Wipak UK 

Hours: 3 week rotating pattern (12 hr days and nights)

Salary: £25,000pa

Main Duties:

Bond checking, sorting of quarantine areas, GC checks, Route Cause Analysis (swarms, A3’s, etc.) and archiving 

BRC and ISO Standard process audits 

Procedural and process audits for a number of departments and all other areas of the business 

Hygiene audits, environmental audits, health & safety audits and glass audits 

Actioning audit findings, with the aim of having a ‘no action list’ at future audits 

Profile:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, Science and English

Strong computer literacy skills, including a high proficiency in Microsoft packages

Good communication skills - both verbal and written

Ability to work autonomously in an organised manner

Warehouse Operative

Wipak UK is a leading supplier of premium quality, sustainable and innovative flexible packaging solutions for food products. It is part of the family-owned, international industry and trade conglomerate, Wihuri.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our current Warehouse team in Wipak UK

Hours: 3 week rotating pattern (12 hr days and nights)

Salary: £10.51hr

Main Duties:

Material flow - materials delivered to production on time in full and returned product is removed

Scanning material movements 

Pallet managment

Prepare documentation

Check and maintain records

Carry out inventory checks

Loading/unloading vehicles

Support stocktake activities

General warehouse and yard duties

Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines

Profile:

Experience within a warehousing facility is essential and preferably in a food packaging environment

Conscientious and experience of checking products to ensure they meet quality standards

Reach and Counterbalance licence

Working as part of a team and flexible approach to work

Sound verbal, numerical and PC skills

Knowledge of 5s, Kaizen and Kanban systems would be advantageous
