Vacancy for Overseas Supply Specialist
CellPath, a highly successful company based in Newtown, Powys that specialises in the manufacture and worldwide supply of consumables, equipment and services that aid in cancer diagnostics, is looking for an Overseas Supply Specialist to cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the Purchasing and Planning Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for dealings with our overseas suppliers, as well as freight agents for the importing of goods.
The person will be required to work with personnel across all areas of CellPath as well as deal directly with suppliers. Therefore, they must be self-motivated, positive and a team player with excellent communication skills. In addition, they should be highly organised and possess the following skills/behaviours: planning, prioritisation, problem solving, IT literate, attention to detail, reporting, data capture as well as the ability to remain composed in periods of high workload.
Experience in purchasing, preferably in an import-orientated environment is desirable.
39 hours per week Monday – Friday. Based in Newtown, Powys.
Minimum 12-month contract.
