Assessor: Electrical Installation

An exciting opportunity to join our Building Engineering Services department has arisen where you will play a key role in the delivery of education to future Electrical Engineers. This role can also provide you with worthwhile experience if you wish to pursue a career in teaching at a later stage.

About the role: To undertake workplace-based assessment on behalf of the school of Building Engineering Services.

Salary: Scale 5, Points 25 – 28, £31,001 - £33,385 per annum pro rata. (Equivalent to £15,500 -£16,692 per annum)

18.5 hours per week (including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends).

Contract: Part time, permanent.

About you: You will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline (NVQ/QCF or equivalent) and have relevant industrial experience along with level 2 qualifications in Maths and English and be IT Literate to level 2. Ideally candidates will hold Assessor Awards.
