Part Time Development Kitchen Assistant
We are a High-Quality Luxury Dessert Manufacturer situated in a pleasant rural location in Welshpool. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant in our Development Kitchen working on a part time basis to join our well-established Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of developing and maintaining our diverse product base as well as bringing new ideas.
The main purpose of the role is to work within the Development Kitchen and New Product Development teams to help support the development of new products from concept to launch as well as maintain our diverse product base.
The primary duties of the role will be:
• To work on improving existing products via process and ingredient innovation.
• Assist with shelf-life trials and quality attribute standards.
• Be able to provide accurate documentation in a timely manner to ensure administrative duties are met by the relevant departments.
• Attending internal product presentations with the development team.
• To assist the NPD team with the despatching of samples to both existing and new customers daily.
• This is a role that will enable you to integrate and work with all areas of the business.
Experience
A love of desserts and practical baking skills
Full training will be given in all aspects of the role following a full introduction to the business.

This position is 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
