Former Marine joins NFU

NFU Mutual, the UK’s leading rural insurer, has appointed Daniel Launder as an Assistant Agent in NFU Mutual Welshpool.

Daniel joined NFU Mutual in December after having served 10 years as a Royal Marine Commando, and has returned to his farming roots.

In his new role, Daniel (pictured on the right) will be working alongside the new business team to provide customers with insurance, financial, investment and risk management services.

He will draw on his knowledge and understanding of the local community to help provide a first class service for farming and business members and clients.

He said: “As a local resident of Welshpool, I particularly enjoy forming relationships with our members and providing them with a local, personal service. I am thoroughly looking forward to getting out on the road to meet our customers to establish meaningful and lasting relationships.”
