Delivering community cheer
Charanjit Singh has been delivering parcels to the Welshpool area for DPD for the past couple of years, but it is the positivity and goodwill that he also delivers around the clock that has got the town talking.
Last night, grateful resident, Di Davies, launched the campaign by posting:
“Anyone in the the town who's had DPD deliveries may have met Charanjit Singh.
“Certainly if I'm having a delivery, I know it'll be on time and he will always have a friendly greeting and a kindly manner, I actually look forward to seeing Mr Singh even more than having the delivery!”
Her post was met by a wave of support for Mr Singh with many contacting us to ask for help.
