Pay by card to park in Welshpool
Welshpool’s public carparks have updated their pay and display machines, enabling them to now accept card payments.
The latest phase of upgrades to the towns three car parks brings the total number across the county now accepting card and contactless payments to over 30.
“We are pleased to bring more of our busiest pay and display carparks up to date by enabling the machines to accept card payments, making life easier for visitors and residents alike,” explained Cllr Heulwen Hulme, Cabinet Member for Highways.
The new machines can be found at these local car parks, as well as many others across Powys:
Gas Street Car Park, Newtown
Gravel Car Park, Newtown
Back Lane Car Park, Newtown
Church Street Car Park, Welshpool
Berriew Street Car Park, Welshpool
Severn Stars Car Park, Welshpool
