Local police officers are holding a Community Safety Day on Thursday to target illegal drug use in the town as well as other issues, with an open invitation for everyone to attend.
The force is taking over the Corn Exchange at the Town Hall from 10am-2pm to provide an opportunity for residents to discuss issues with local officers.
“This year we are focusing on illegal drug use,” said a spokesperson. “All members of the community are welcome to attend and there will be a chance to talk to other agencies as well.”
