Dyfed-Powys police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a nasty smash on Friday night that resulted in a motorcyclist being taken to hospital.
The incident happened at around 10.15pm and shut the Newtown road by Garthmyl until the early hours.
“The vehicles involved were a blue Honda CV car and a blue Yamaha motorcycle,” said a spokesperson for the force.
“The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital by ambulance. The road was closed with diversions in place.”
