Three children airlifted to hospital

Three children were airflifted to hospital following today's accident at Llanfair Caereinion involving a coach.
Ambulance officials have confirmed three were taken by air ambulance following the incident involving a coach at School Lane, another was taken by road ambulance and fifth was discharged following treatment at the scene.
The accident happened at around 3.25pm as the primary and high schools closed.
Nobody was on the coach and the driver was also taken to hospital by road.
Police have not revealed any more details on the conditions of the three children airlifted.
The road remains closed while police investigate the incident.
The last statement said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is at the scene of a road traffic collision which occurred at about 3.25 today, 23rd May 2022 on School Lane, just off Neuadd Lane, Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool.
"A school bus and a number of young pedestrians were involved in the collision.
The male driver of the bus and five children have been taken to hospital.
There were no passengers on the bus.
The road is closed with diversions in place. Please avoid the area if possible.”
