FLT driver vacancy

Severn Transport Services are an award-winning palletised freight distribution company based in Welshpool and are shareholder members of the Pall-Ex & Fortec Pallet Distribution Networks.

We are looking to recruit a reliable, counterbalance FLT driver to be part of our warehouse team, for loading & unloading vehicles & trailers in a busy environment This role involves early starts / split shifts.

Experience preferred but full training will be given to suitable applicants.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £Excellent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Split shifts: Mornings 4am – 9am & Afternoons 2pm – 6pm

• Start times: Mondays 5.30am. Tuesday – Friday 4am.

Full Job Description:

• Previous experience of operating in a busy warehouse environment, loading and unloading pallets for a large fleet of HGV's and trailers is preferred however full training will be given to suitable applicants

• Daily checks, inspect forklift trucks

• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety complying with all Health and Safety legislation.

• Ensure inbound and outbound pallets are loaded accurately, safely and free of damage.
