Welshpool Hockey Juniors after new recruits

Welshpool Hockey Club is on the look-out for new players to join its junior ranks – with an open invitation for anyone aged from five up to Year 9 invited to give it go. 

Sessions are held every Wednesday evening from 5.30pm-6.30pm on the Flash Astro Turf with the first training free to encourage more people to attend. 

“Any new or returning players are welcome, from age five up to Year 9 and we have lots of spare sticks, so all you need to do is turn up in appropriate clothing and come and join in!” a club spokesperson told us. 

“For anyone in Year 10 and up, feel free to come along to our Senior session which runs after the Junior session, 6.30-8pm.”
