Multi-million selling band’s Workies gig!

Created on 31/10/2011 @ 14:58

Sixtees sensations The Batchelors, who sold millions of records worldwide in their prime, will play a one-off charity gig in Welshpool on Saturday night.

Original members Con & Dec (right) will perform at The Social Club (aka The Workies) in aid of Marie Curie with all proceeds going to the local branch of the cancer charity.

The band will perform most of the 18 hits that saw them spend more time in the top 10 than the Beatles in 1964 plus the two big No. 1s ‘Diane’ and ‘I Believe’.

Tickets are priced £10 and available from The Social Club, The Westwood or The Grapes.
