QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Quality Pipe Supports (QPS) Ltd are specialist designers and manufacturers of Pipe Supports, Spring Hangers, and Steelwork Fabrications for the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Process and allied Industries.

The company operates a Quality system in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 and holds quality accreditations and approvals with all the major engineering contractors.

We are currently looking to employ a Quality Manager to ensure that our procedures and processes are maintained and developed to suit our ever increasing client portfolio.

 Responsibilities.

Determining, agreeing, and generating in-house Quality procedures, standards and specifications.

Assessing client requirements and ensuring that these are met.

Setting client service standards and ensuring all procedures are up to date to ensure successful in-house and external audits.

Specifying Quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers.

Investigating and setting standards for Quality and Health / Safety.

Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both National and International level.

Liaising with company personnel to establish procedures, standards and systems.

Generatin manufacturing and technical reports.

Determining training needs.

Acting as a catalyst for change and improvements in Quality, and be responsible for monthly Quality in-house meetings.

Monitoring performance of all in-house processes.

Generating quality plans, client certification and manufacturing record books in accordance with contract requirements.

Liaising with clients by telephone and email on all Quality matters.

Participating in meetings with clients regarding Quality matters.
