Boxing Day Santa Run in Llanfair
Llanfair Hockey Club is hosting a Fun Run (& Walk) with everyone encouraged to turn up in their Santa gear if they wish for a choice of two trails.
The starting line is the scenic WLLR Llanfair Railway Car Park (SY21 0SF), where participants can choose between a spirited 3.5-mile trail run or a 2-mile route suitable for children, prams, and even four-legged friends.
The event kicks off at 10.30am and all participants will be rewarded with a festive medal to commemorate their jolly jaunt, and to keep energy levels high, hot food, drinks, and refreshments will be available.
Registration will take place on the day with entry fees at £5 for adults, £3 for children, and a special family package at £12 for two adults and two children. Little ones under the age of three can join the festivities for free.
