Welshpool Skatepark designs need your views

Residents are invited to view the designs proposed for the new Welshpool Skatepark and have their say on developing them to the next phase of delivery.

Last month, MyWelshpool revealed the design (pictured) submitted by specialist firm Canvas who have been tasked with creating something special for the town on the site of the former tennis courts at Maesydre.

They were very warmly received by the community, but before the next phase is undertaken, Welshpool Town Council want to hear from residents in person.

The event, from 4-6pm on Wednesday, March 20, will be held at the Youth Centre at Maesydre.

Canvas representatives will also be visiting local primary schools in the morning before talking with students at Welshpool High School in the afternoon.
