Welshpool Jive club returns

Welshpool Jive returns following its summer break for its 14^th year this Wednesday, at the COWSHACC from 7.45pm.

New members are welcome to join with beginners invited to give it a go.

“It is a beginner’s class so it is easy to join us any Wednesday through this year until the end of April 2026, when we break for the summer,” a spokesperson told us.

“Whilst we are a beginner’s group, we also have experienced jivers who attend and have been coming for many years. This helps by giving the group a good balance but also those who are starting out learning to jive.

“The main theme of our class is having a good laugh, a good dance and a good social evening.”

The first lesson costs £6 and then the second lesson is free to newcomers.
