Welshpool High School has reassured parents and carers this afternoon that all pupils on the Arddleen bus home are unhurt following a road traffic incident that has closed the road.
The A483 towards Arddleen is closed both ways following a collision which is believed to have involved the school bus.
And the high school has been quick to send out the following reassuring communication.
“We are aware of a road traffic incident involving the Arddleen school bus. We have been informed that all of our pupils are safe and well.
“Tanat Valley Transport Directors are on site and are arranging for pupils to get onto an alternative bus at present.
“We are not currently in receipt of any further information, but will update if there are any further changes.”
We have contacted Dyfed-Powys Police for information.
