Welshpool’s GCSE cohort praised for “outstanding results”

There are exciting times ahead for the Welshpool High School students who picked up an “outstanding” set of results today.

The school has praised the effort made by the pupils, saying they “worked exceptionally hard to achieve such fantastic grades and there are success stories that run throughout the year group”.

“As a school we know that our families will feel equally proud of our students’ achievements and will want to celebrate alongside them and us regarding the amazing outcomes that their efforts have produced,” said Headteacher, Jon Arnold.

“We are incredibly grateful to all the students for their hard work, to parents, grandparents and carers for their endless support and to the staff at the school for their tireless commitment.

“We wish each and every student great success in the future and we are delighted that many of them will choose to return to Welshpool High School to study in the Sixth form.
