Road reopens following rail crossing fault

Traffic is flowing again through the Buttington railway crossing after a fault earlier on this evening caused traffic chaos.

The road was closed after the barrier issue was reported, but not at the roundabout which meant vehicles were driving up to the crossing and having to turn around.

Some lorries were getting stuck which added to the chaos.

Thankfully it appears to have been sorted and readers inform us that the road is flowing again in both directions.
