Toilet roll holder pinched from public toilets

Vandals have struck this week at the public toilets at Maesydre playing fields, and the culprits made off with a bizarre item.

Welshpool Town Council Operations Manager Paul McGrath reported to councillors at a committee meeting last night that “unfortunately we had a spate of vandalism in the public toilets where they have ripped off the loo roll holders and one of which has actually been taken away by whoever wanted a loo roll holder!”

He added that they have now been replaced, and also explained that the vandalism to the playpark gate, reported by us last week, may not be as costly to replace as first feared.

He said that all parts were still in place and a new pole was all that may be needed.
