Pool stay in trouble with defeat

Welshpool are rooted in relegation trouble after going down 2-0 at home to Carno in the Spar Mis Wales League.

There was no happy home debut for manager Luke Ogilvie as Pool twice failed to clear a cross inside the six yard box to concede goals in each half.

Llanfair pulled off another fine result at The Mount Field in the Huws Gray Alliance, beating Buckley 1-0. Guilsfield bounced back from midweek misery by beating Penrhyncoch 3-0, thanks to a brace from manager Danny Barton.
