Emergency First Aid course
Powys County Council’s Sports Development Unit has organised an Emergency First Aid course to be held over two evenings later this month.
The six-hour programme will be delivered over two evenings by a registered instructor for individuals who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.
It is suitable for coaches, club players, teachers, parents, volunteers, youth workers and many more.
It will be held at The The Elephant & Castle Hotel, Newtown, on Thursdays November 21 and 28, from 6pm-9pm, and it is vital to attend both. The cost of the course is £45 and for more information, or to book a spot, contact sports.development@powys.gov.uk.
Successful participants will receive a three-year certificate, based on continual assessment, recognised by the Health and Safety Executive.
