Elizabeth lands School scholarship

A young gymnast has used her talents to land a scholarship at Adcote Girls School, near Shrewsbury.

Elizabeth Wilkey will be leaving Leighton Primary School this summer to start her new adventure after impressing with her Gymnastics at Maldwyn Dragons and Cosmic Cheer cheerleading group.

“We are leaving Leighton a year earlier than we would like, but believe this is such a good opportunity for Elizabeth we must take with both hands,” said mum, Vicky Lewis.

As part of her schooling, Elizabeth will be training in gymnastic twice a day with her mum saying she “lives and breathes Gymnastics which is why we believe this school is going to be perfect for her moving forward”.
