Llanfair win bragging rights

Llanfair won the bragging rights with a 2-1 win over neighbours Caersws in the Lock Stock Ardal North East League.

New signing Will Thomas gave the Bluebirds the advantage with a 33rd minute goal after his arrival from Welshpool Town but Astley replied from the penalty spot five minutes later.

And it looked like the honours would be shared until Astley stepped in again to net an injury time winner for the Mount Field side.

Llanidloes shared the spoils at Prestatyn in ther JD Cymru North League. Clarke gave the Daffs a fourth minute lead but Prestatyn hit back through Ruane on 36 minutes.
