Welshpool 10k confirmed for 2024

As the first Newtown 10k approaches fast, the organisers of its sister event in Welshpool have already confirmed the 2024 edition.

The Newtown 10k is a flat course that is expecting to produce plenty of personal bests on May 21, in contrast to the challenging Welshpool course that was successfully held for a second time last month.

“We’re really pleased with how the Welshpool event went,” said Alan Lewis, from Adrenaline Sporting Events, who confirmed that it will return to the town on March 24, 2024.

“I'm thrilled to be building on a successful two years and look forward to attracting more people to the town in 2024.

“The area plays a big role in our calendar as we also offer Newtown 10k in May and Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon in September.”
