The Price was right!

Steve Price has continued his great form this season by winning the GWS Contractors Singles for the Welshpool and District Darts League, writes Steve Lloyd.

Price beat Phil Jones, Leigh Marsdon, Kacey Jones and Jordan Harding on his way to the final where he overcame Jamie Cater for the £70 first prize. He also threw 13 and 15-dart finish in his games.

Cater had beaten Robin Shingler, Aiden Jones and Chris White on his way to the final, and claimed the &40 runners-up prize.

Chris White and Jordan Harding were the semi-finalists, picking up £15 each for their troubles.

The competition was held at the Green Dragon in Welshpool and well done to the proprietors and the committee for their hard work in making it a great night.

That is the last of the games until after Christmas so from the committee I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Games commence on January 5.
