Alex is Champion of Champions

A local 13-year-old that we featured last summer has continued to impress with a strong finish to the year, and a focus on becoming a future Olympian.

Alex Sillitoe-Price, from Tregynon, rose to prominence last summer with some strong performances at national junior tournaments, and went on to be Champion of Champions at The Junior Masters Tournament having beaten all junior age groups under 21.

The youngster was also the overall winner in his age category for the National Junior Archery Series 2023 and went on to win gold at the National Indoor Championships in December.

He finished the year as the UK’s top ranked U14 boy and continues to train on the Olympic Pathway with the goal of qualifying for the 2028 Olynmpics in Los Angeles.
