Bowlers finish second in Wales!

Montgomeryshire’s short mat bowlers have proved to be among the best in Wales following a superb performance at the national county finals last weekend.

Facing the might of West Glamorgan, Pembrokeshire, Swansea, Wrexham, Cardiganshire, and Carmarthenshire, the Monty bowlers finished a brilliant second.

It is ironic that Montgomeryshire actually beat the winners Pembrokeshire during the two-day competition held at Llandrindod Wells.

But, sadly, two defeats meant they had to settle for second in the league format, but a fantastic showing none-the-less from the bowlers.
