In the same division, COBRA 2nds had a profitable afternoon on their travels to Rhos, recording a 3-43 win.
COBRA's youth team turned on the style to win 42-0 against Caernarfon in the North Wales Youth League.
On Sunday, the cheers could be heard for miles as Welshpool's Under-14 secured a North Wales Cup Final spot with a thrilling 22-17 win against Caernarfon. Scoring two tries in the final quarter of the game, the young Pool team showed a great fighting spirit and they thoroughly deserved their place in the final. They will play the winners of Bala v COBRA, a game that takes place next weekend.
