Adele makes it a podium hat-trick!

As if winning gold and silver medals in the monobob weren’t enough, Welshpool’s Adele Nicoll has completed a full house by winning bronze today in the two-woman bobsleigh event at the Europa Cup in Igls, Austria.

Adele is in the form of her life as the Winter Olympics fast approach in Italy from February 6, and she showed her incredible progress wasn’t just confined to the monobob with a superb display piloting for Team GB with Ashleigh Nelson in the back.

She finished third behind two German pairs, with another German pair behind her in fourth.

To prove she is getting even faster with each run, Adele clocked the fastest run of the 15 sleds in the second heat.

It really has been an astonishing week for Adele who started the winter season with a serious injury, but has bounced back to be better than ever.
