Third-from-bottom Bethesda visit Maesydre today presenting Welshpool with their best chance of securing an elusive first win of the season in Division One North, writes Gary Williams.
Despite losing 49-10 in a feisty encounter back in November at Bethesda, Welshpool have certainly improved since so this could be a close encounter in front of a large home Sponsor's Day crowd.
COBRA, also in Division One, after enjoying their first win last week since December against Colwyn Bay, face a tough away trip at fourth placed Bala. Home advantage could prove to be the decisive factor here.
In Division Two North, Newtown are likely to do their promotion hopes a lot of good when they entertain Abergele. The visitors, enjoying a decent set of results at present, should provide strong opposition but Newtown should have the firepower for a comfortable win.
There is a top versus second place clash in Division Three North East as unbeaten leaders COBRA Athletic head north to one of their big rivals for that one promotion spot. Whilst on the same points at present, the Meifod team still have two games in hand. Difficult to call and will depend on how strong a squad travel with.
On the youth front, COBRA travel to Pwllheli in the North Wales Premiership whilst Newtown also travel to Dinbych in the Youth Championship.
Sunday afternoon sees the ladies of COBRA host Wrexham in the North Wales Women's League.
