Welshpool claimed the local bragging rights after an entertaining victory over neighbours Guilsfield & Llandrinio to keep their promotion hopes on track in Shropshire Division Three.
A fine 49 from Chris Proctor and solid batting from Russell Cadwallader (36) ensured Welshpool set a first innings target of 159-8.
