The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting in the production of all content created within the marketing department. Working from creative briefs, ensurindelivery of finalised assets on time and to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for creating and maintaining a customer reference list of case studies and application references.

• Being proactive in generating new case studies and implementing a process to capture application references and providing an innovative solution for delivering results so sales and marketing employees are be able to access and use the material readily and easily.

• Responsible for assisting in the production of all marketing material, but not limited to, graphical assets (e.g. posters, flyers, adverts, photography), text/copy assets (e.g. case studies, brochures, web copy, white papers, press articles) and digital assets (e.g. social media content, video, apps).

• Participating in various design projects from concept to completion.

• Producing drafts, prototypes and engaging design solutions.

• Listening to feedback to hone skills and improve design.

• Assisting in the process of translating assets into necessary language versions.

• Support digital and launch & campaign teams with design requirements.

• Assist in taking and preparing creative briefs and keeping clients up to date with the progress of projects.

• Act as guardian to the brand guidelines and style guides.

• Collaborate with the Head of Studio and agencies/freelancers to produce the final pieces.

• Liaise with clients to discuss their requirements – and help to resolve any issues related to the work produced.

• Attend regular training events and courses to further your knowledge and expertise.

• Ensure accuracy and maintain high standards across all content.

• Develop new ideas and strategies for improving departmental efficiency and client servicing.

• Be an ambassador for global marketing; strive to add value for the wider organisation and for affiliates, driving marketing excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications, Experience and Profile:

• GCSE or equivalent English or Maths, Grade C or above.

• Apprentice qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing or a related field.

• Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Working knowledge of Adobe design and production systems - Experience with design software (eg InDesign) and graphics editing tools (eg Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).

• Understanding of image formats and basic graphic design principles: (layout, type and fonts).

• Proven experience in content creation and delivery.

• Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude.

• A keen eye for detail.
