Purchasing Assistant 

Summary 

RMGroup specialise in the supply of process and packaging machinery to various industries around the  UK. The company has grown rapidly within the last few years and we are continually looking for aspiring  individuals to join our dynamic team.  

We require a purchasing assistant to support the purchasing manager with the increasing workload  within the company seen from continued growth.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Entry of purchase orders onto system 

• RFQ’s 

• Chasing suppliers for order confirmations and delivery updates 

• Supporting the purchasing manager with stock takes and data entry into ERP system 

Skills / Experience: 

• Candidates ideally has experience with ERP systems 

• Understand the importance of stock control within a business and its required processes. • Good communication skills, ability to negotiate and establish relationships with suppliers • Organised, and efficient, with the ability to prioritise workloads and work on own initiative 

Working Hours 

Part Time – Circa 24 Hours per Week 

Start/Finish Time & Days of Work Negotiable & Flexible. 

Salary 

Negotiable dependant upon experience and hours agreed.
