Fundraisers keeping Belan Hall going

The local community is pulling together to raise funds to ensure Belan Old School Village Hall remains open and available for hire.

With running costs increasing sharply in the past year, the Belan Residents Association has unveiled a list of events the raise money towards its running costs.

Events for the diary:

• Quiz - Wednesday June 26, 7pm. Quizmaster Tony Evans.
• Bingo – August date to be arranged.
• Social evening, bring your own drinks – Watch the Perseid Meteor Shower - August date to be arranged.
• Bingo – September date to be arranged.
• Wreath Making – Wednesday, November 20, 7pm, with Gwenno and Megan.
• Harvest Festival – September date to be arranged.
• Carol Service – December date to be arranged.

Refreshments are included at all events with the Belan Community Hall Facebook page up and running to share the latest information.

The hall can also be booked for parties, hobby groups and meetings with up to 75 persons able to be accommodated.

Vintage China, Cake stands and Glassware can be provided and there is also a field available for larger events.
