A new music festival that had a short-lived existence due to Covid is finally returning next month, with a whopping 40 DJs and live acts set to provide a memorable weekend in a stunning setting on the outskirts of Welshpool.
Funk in the Forest is a 500-capacity boutique festival from July 11-13 celebrating underground electronic music and immersive art, taking place in the secluded Brithdir Hall woodland.
With world-class sound systems and dozens of DJs and live acts across three intimate stages, guests are invited to dance beneath ancient pines, explore curated food and craft stalls, and enjoy local beers as the music provides the weekend soundtrack.
“We’ve curated a line-up of boundary pushing artists from across the electronic spectrum, with debut UK festival performances from Alex Albrecht (live), Joe Davies, and many more,” said Clem Rye, the event’s founder.
“The bill also includes Long Island Sound, Louf, Marcelina, Kayla Painter, Ethan McNamara, Edmondson, Simpler Times, and others.
“Beyond the music, the festival will feature immersive art installations, a boutique market, and an onsite record shop, creating a rich and atmospheric experience in the heart of nature.
