The Bossy Babes of Welshpool!

A new group that is aimed at supporting local women in business has been created for the Welshpool area.

Bossy Babes of Welshpool wants to build a supportive community of women who run or work within their own businesses, many of whom spend much of their time working alone.

With monthly meetings and an understanding network, the group is completely free of charge to join and hopes to have a fresh approach to interacting in the area.

“The group offers a safe and welcoming space to co-work, chat, share ideas, and form meaningful connections,” said the group’s Vix Davies.

“Our aim is to make sure no woman in business feels isolated while juggling the many demands of running a business.

“We meet once a month at The Oak in Guilsfield, on the second Wednesday of every month. Each session is informal and free to attend, with the group shaped and led by the women who come along.

“It’s a chance to work alongside each other, enjoy conversations, motivate one another, and most importantly have some fun.

The next meeting will be held on October 8 from 10am-noon.
