FLT Driver/Van Driver vacancy

We are looking to recruit a reliable, experienced counterbalance FLT driver / van driver to be part of our success story, for loading & unloading vehicles / local multi drop deliveries. This role involves early starts.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent (Monday to Friday + Saturday mornings on rota).

Salary:   £Excellent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (04.00am start) – up to 10 hours per day.

• 28 days holiday (Includes Bank Holidays)

Full Job Description:

• Previous experience of operating in a busy warehouse environment loading and unloading pallets for a large fleet of HGV's and trailers is preferred, however full training will be given to suitable applicants

• Daily checks, inspect forklift trucks

• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety complying with all Health and Safety legislation

• Ensure inbound and outbound pallets are loaded accurately, safely and free of damage

This role also includes:

• Driving 35cwt Citi Loader curtain sided Luton (with tail lift) for local multi drop pallet deliveries around TF / SY postcode areas, delivering to businesses, shops and residential addresses so must be competent, capable and safe to use vehicle tail lifts & electric pallet truck.

• Use of a PDA to complete proof of delivery signatures and RHA daily vehicle check App. (understanding of the KPI element of the role - 100% compliant).

• Awareness of Health & Safety as working with minimal supervision when on the road.
