Welshpool drug-driver arrested

A 25-year-old man remains in police custody after being caught driving under the influence of drugs in Welshpool yesterday.

Officers noticed a vehicle driving erratically in the town, and after stopping it, the driver failed a roadside test and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

He could face six months in prison if convicted.
