Mario’s bid for White Christmas

Returning Llanrhaeadr boss Mario Iaquinta has wasted no time in launching the club’s Huws Gray Alliance survival bid by putting out the feelers for a number of players.

The club’s secretary has been busy sending out notices of approach with former sharp shooter Ben White top of the Christmas shopping list. His Guilsfield team mate John Harris is also believed to be a prime target along with Four Crosses sharp shooter Gareth Jones.

Jones is one goal away from bagging 150 for the club and manager Nick Popyk says he hopes he will stay. Meanwhile, in-form Crosses player Ben Oakley is a target for Spar One rivals Berriew and youngster Tom Ellis has attracted interest from Llansantffraid Village.
