Welshpool set for Captain’s Day

Welshpool Golf Club Captain Dai Ellis (pictured) has invited members to join him for his Captain’s Day on Saturday.

Ellis said “all members are welcome with plenty of beer stops and food to follow” for a competition that will be held as an Individual Stableford with prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, as well as top lady and 65+.

Side competitions include several nearest the pins as well as putting and chipping.

The last tee off time permitted will be 1.30pm.
