Glad to see a miserable second half to 2025 disappear, Welshpool have the chance to get their first win of the season when fellow strugglers Colwyn Bay visit Maesydre, writes Gary Williams.
Despite a Friday night trouncing received at The Bay a few weeks ago, this game should be a lot closer and, if Pool are going to get a win on the board this season, playing at home against a team which are second from bottom, may be their best chance.
Also, in Division One North, COBRA travel to Ruthin for a tough challenge. Both sides are mid-table with COBRA just edging it with six wins to Ruthin's five this season.
In Division Two North, Newtown will be looking to continue their push for promotion when they entertain Machynlleth in a Mid Wales derby. However, Machynlleth, although inconsistent so far this season, are well capable of springing a surprise if at full strength.
Bottom club Llanidloes, still looking for that elusive first win of the season, travel to fellow strugglers Denbigh.
Unfortunately, Wrexham 2nds v COBRA 2nds in Division Three North East, has been postponed.
